Graham Chipchase
Chief Executive

Graham Chipchase joined Rexam in February 2003 as Finance Director and member of the Board. In October 2005 he moved to an operational role as Rexam's Group Director Plastic Packaging. In January 2010 he became Rexam's Chief Executive.

David Robbie
Finance Director

Appointed to the Board as Finance Director in October 2005. He joined Rexam from Royal P&O Nedlloyd where he was Chief Financial Officer and a member of the board. He has also held similar financial positions in both CMG and Invensys. He is a non executive director of the BBC and a trustee of Aldeburgh Music.

David Gibson
Group General Counsel/Company Secretary

Joined Rexam in 1989 as European Legal Counsel and assumed his role of Company Secretary and Director of Legal Affairs for Rexam in 1996. Prior to that he was a solicitor and practised with DLA, a City law firm. He became a Director of Rexam Pension Trustees Limited in 1995 and is also Secretary of Rexam's Remuneration, Nomination and Audit Committees.

Jon Atchue
Group Director, Human Resources

Appointed to his current position on 1 January 2010, Jon joined Rexam in 2003. He became HR Director for Beverage Cans North America in 2005 and then Global HR Director for Plastic Packaging at the start of 2008. He previously worked in a variety of HR roles for RR Donnelley, a world leader in printing services, and the McDonald’s Corporation.

Operational & functional directors

Tomas Sjölin
Sector Director, Beverage Can Europe & Asia

Joined Rexam in 2003 as Sector Director for Beverage Can Europe & Asia. His career in packaging started with PLM (acquired by Rexam in 1999) where he worked for 15 years, in a variety of senior management positions. He later became Technical Director of the PLM Beverage Can Division. He subsequently became Production Director of Oriflame, a global cosmetics company. Prior to Rexam he was President and CEO of Nolato, an international plastic components manufacturer.

Andre Balbi
Sector Director, Beverage Can Americas

Andre has been with the company since 2000. He has been in the consumer packaging and fast moving consumer goods industries since 1991, when he managed soft drink operations for the Brazilian beverage producer, Brahma. Prior to joining Latasa (acquired by Rexam in October 2003), Andre worked for five years with Frito-Lay's chips operation. He took over the leadership of Beverage Can South America at the end of 2004, and became Sector Director Beverage Can Americas in June 2009.

Malcolm Harrison
Sector Director, Plastic Packaging

Malcolm joined Rexam in March 2010. Previous senior global management roles include Chief Procurement Officer at Nestlé and at InBev. He also held senior roles in operations and sales in Bass Brewers and soft drinks manufacturer Britvic.

Iain Percival
Group Director Enterprise Risk

Joined Rexam in January 2004 and became Supply Chain Director for Rexam Glass (divested 2007) in 2005. Promoted to Group Supply Chain Director in July 2007 and to Group Enterprise Risk Director in May 2010. Prior to Rexam, he spent eleven years with Toyota in various procurement roles. Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, UK.

Claire Jenkins
Group Director Corporate Affairs

Joined Rexam May 2010. Prior to Rexam she sat on the management committee of international tobacco company Gallaher Group (acquired by Japan Tobacco in 2007) where she was responsible for investor relations and group planning. Corporate experience also gained in various consulting roles and at Laing & Cruickshank. She is a non-executive director of Retro Classics Fund and a trustee of Amicus.
